Nowadays, learning about the culture of the country you are studying is essential, but why? What does it bring us more? Will students be able to speak the language better because of the country's popular culture? Will they be more effective?
This essay is there to explain the importance of studying the culture of the country you are studying the language (here English) and above all to show how you can do it. I wrote this TFE by reading books, articles and watching videos on the subject. I created a questionnaire and imagined a sequence on a cultural point to answer my research question: How and why should English popular culture be introduced into an English language course? |
