Résumé : |
The purpose of my thesis is to explore the use of Brain Gym® in a language class in primary school. Therefore, I asked myself ; "Can Brain Gym® be an aid to language learning for pupils in primary school? What could teachers do to make all students improve during courses ? What could teachers establish to create a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom ? Which techniques and activities could teachers adapt to maximise students' attention and interest in learning ? ” My initial research on this question focuses on the difficulties and aids that pupils face during their school life, as well as the importance of movements in school. This dissertation will be on the presentation of the importance of Brain Gym® in class, a method based on movements. It is considered as an efficient way of improving the learning process. It also offers some activities and some attitudes that teachers should adapt in order to enhance the willingness and the comfort to learn. Moreover, it explains the impact of the three dimensions of movements and benefits on the cognitive aspect. In order to get to grips with the method, I was also trained for a day. I wrote this dissertation mainly by reading articles, books and reports. In addition, I created a notebook and a grid so I can analyse the teacher, the students and myself by practising Brain Gym® in primary school. |
