Résumé : |
In this work, we focused on foreign language learning through the integration of films and series, as well as the integration of film references, into lessons. We realised that language learning in schools does not often deal with tools that are out of the ordinary, and therefore did not allow pupils to step outside the framework of 'ordinary' teaching. We therefore wondered whether the inclusion of references to the world of cinema, as a first step, would succeed in motivating students to follow and be interested in the lessons given. We also wondered whether the integration of films and series as full-fledged tools in the lessons would succeed in helping the pupils from a motivational point of view and from a linguistic point of view. Therefore, we tried to answer these questions with the help of two different student samples: two classes of third year secondary and two classes of second year secondary. After a week of observation, which allowed us to realise the lack of concentration and motivation on the part of the students, we decided to set up our tests so that we could finally give the students questionnaires, and thus obtain the long awaited answers. |
