Consequently, there were no or almost no connection between grammar and communication. But without grammar we can’t communicate! We unconsciously use the grammar and vocabulary to express ourselves.
Why don’t we teach grammar in a communicative way? Why an efficient education should only be satisfied with theories and exercises? Isn’t it nice from time to time to play and learn in the classroom? Why should we ban games in the classroom whereas the communication is one of the most important thing? These questions have fed my curiosity and led me to wonder how and why teaching grammar communicatively and playfully? Or “Improving the pupils’ grammatical behaviours through didactical games”.
Throughout my work, I will try to prove that it is essential to promote the teaching of grammar in a communicative and playful way. Writings and guidance of many teachers allowed me to deduce that grammar should be taught in context, as in a communication of everyday life. It also emerged that the game had a particularly beneficial aspect of learning in general. Let’s explore how to improve the use of grammar while promoting communication.Permalink : http://catalogue.iesp.be/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=19426 Improving the pupils' grammatical behaviours through didactical games [texte imprimé] / Marine Guglielmi, Auteur . - Nivelles : Haute Ecole Paul-Henri Spaak.
